The terms on which we provide virtual assistant services. Last updated October 2026.
Assign Your Task Inc. ("we") provides dedicated virtual assistants who perform computer- and phone-based tasks on your instructions, for the number of hours in your chosen plan. Assistants work from our operations center; they are our employees or contractors, not yours.
Plans are sold in blocks of 20, 40, 80 or 160 hours and are valid for 30 days from activation. Hours per day shown on the pricing page are a guide; the schedule is agreed with you at set-up. You may upgrade a plan at any time by paying the difference. Two assistants are available on the 80- and 160-hour plans; splitting the 40-hour plan is at our discretion.
There is no joining fee and no long-term commitment. Each plan runs for 30 days from activation. You may change or stop at the end of any plan period. If you don't use a plan, tell us and we will hold the account at no cost; you can resume with three business days' notice.
Plans are billed monthly or biweekly in advance, in US dollars, by PayPal, Visa/Mastercard or bank transfer. By arrangement, the scope can be agreed with your account manager and assistant before payment.
If we do not start your account within two business days of receiving payment, 100% of the amount paid is refunded within five business days. Once you have requested set-up and an assistant has been allocated, any refund is at the discretion of management.
You agree to give lawful instructions, to provide the access, tools and information your assistant needs, and not to ask your assistant to do anything that breaks the law or the terms of any service they use on your behalf. You are responsible for the business decisions made on the basis of the work delivered.
We treat everything you share with us as confidential. Every assistant is background-checked and bound by a confidentiality agreement. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
If you are not satisfied with a task, tell your account manager and we will redo it at no additional cost. Training, onboarding and meeting time is never billed.
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in which the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
